About Ag Challenge Wanganui

Ag Challenge Limited is a New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) Registered and Accredited Training Centre. Based in Wanganui, Ag Challenge are your automotive/engineering training, agriculture training, construction/building training and vet nurse training specialists in Wanganui. All Ag Challenge programmes work towards National Certificates containing industry based unit standards. Courses run for 44 weeks - start at any time. CV’s and numeracy & literacy are incorporated into the programmes. Full-time, part-time or correspondence study options are available.

The company began as a small farm training programme on the Director’s property in 1984 and has now progressed to the facility located in St Hill Street, Wanganui.

Ag Challenge Limited offer National Certificate programmes in Automotive, Agriculture, Carpentry and Veterinary Nursing.

Programmes involve workplace experience and are generally free of charge, if eligible, with the exception of Veterinary Nursing which has Student Loans and Allowances available. All programmes are Unit Standard and predominantly practically based.

We have created a great campus feel with student facilities including a well equipped Automotive Workshop, Student Common Room and Kitchen, TV and Video, Computers and Table Tennis.

At our site on No 3 Line we have our training farm, several classrooms and a carpentry workshop.
